Le Sigh

So we found this amazing townhome in South Orem that was worth over $200,000, but was selling for about $180,000. We saw it and fell in love with it. The owners just wanted to get out of it (something had come up with their daughter, apparently) so we offered $178,000 with them paying $5,000 of our closing cost (so we only would have to dish out $173,00 - still a LOT of money). Long story short, someone else dove in and offered full price. We were already out of our comfort zone with the price, so we lost the townhome.
Now we have to meet with the realtor again and go look at homes. Actually, Jeff gets to meet with the realtor and look at more properties, because I get to go home and clean and pack up the apartment. Jeff also starts work on Monday, so he's going to have to house hunting in his spare time after work. I feel bad. We really wanted the expensive place because it was absolutely perfect, but also because this would all be over. That was our first day of hunting (and we looked at about a dozen other places) and we found a perfect place. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft, and a pretty nice kitchen. We wouldn't have had to move for a long long time, and then we could have possibly rented it when we did move.
Like I already said, Jeff is going to be staying in Utah and I'm going back to Vegas. The last time we did this (last week) I lasted all of 3 days. Let's see how long I can make it before I break down this time...

(Just something random:)
