Honda

This morning, I opened a letter:

"Dear Customer:

Congratulations! We have received the final payment on your loan, and because we no longer retain you original loan contract, this letter serves as our acknowledgment that this debt has been paid in full. You will receive the release title in a separate mailing within seven business days."

We've paid off our Honda!

It's hard to express how happy we are about this. It's amazingly satisfying to have one less payment to make every month and a huge weight off our shoulders to have less debt.

Now, I don't know if anyone remembers what happened last time we paid off a car, but I don't think we'll be taking any winter road trips this year...
